Wouldn’t life be slightly dull without a few weird and wonderful toys and gadgets to play with along the way? As the good saying goes, getting old is inevitable, but growing up is optional. That’s why the Firebox elves scour the world, looking for the very latest gadgets, toys, games and other cool stuff for your amusement.
About Firebox.com
Firebox.com started out in early 1998 called hotbox.co.uk, an online retailer founded by university friends Michael Smith and Tom Boardman. Operating in Cardiff, the company saw rapid initial growth due to the huge success of Michael and Tom’s invention, the Shot Glass Chess Set. In the Summer of 1999 the company upped sticks and moved to London, relaunching as Firebox.com. In 2002 the company opened its first combined Head Office and Distribution Centre located in South London.

I have been telling all my friends about Firebox in the past few months, saying how efficient they are, how quickly my order came and how wonderful the customer service team there are who took my order over the phone. I have become increasingly frustrated about the poor customer service received nowadays with a lot of other companies, but Firebox have proved me wrong and therefore they have made me want to use you again and again. I recommend to all and I’ll certainly be back to see the latest cool stuff and gadgets you have to tempt my credit card out of my wallet again.
WOW! Customer service is not yet dead thanks to Firebox.com. I had to call them to make an amendment to my order and spoke to a very helpful young lady who dealt with the error quickly, cheerfully and without any fuss whatsoever. This makes such a change to the other customer service people in other companies I’ve dealt with recently. The workout message is a cool touch as well. Excellent stuff Firebox!
I’ve been ordering from Firebox since they used to be Hotbox way back when and they always give me the same great service every time I order from them. No hassles with their website, no hassles with their customer service, no hassles with the delivery, it came exactly when they said it would. The internet would be a far greater place if we had more retailers like Firebox.com.
