Being a little scared of heights myself I had to bite the bullet and just go with this as I knew my partner had always wanted to do it, I’m truly glad I did. We were well looked after from the moment we got there, after a quick safety briefing (don’t lean over the edge sir, you may fall out), our pilot took us straight to the balloon and off we went. The views are simply amazing and my fear of heights was almost parted with after a few moments, you can’t help but be amazed with all you can see. Enjoying a glass of champagne whilst being able to see for miles each way was extremely romantic, it was really a great day out.
