The NeoCube Alpha

A puzzle that has no solution? We give you the NeoCube Alpha, the puzzle that has literally billions of combinations to aim for, but no actual purpose.

Even without a purpose we found the NeoCube Alpha completely impossible to put down, so head our warning, this little puzzle is extremely addictive.

Composed of 216 individual high-energy rare-earth magnets (and who doesn’t love magnets), the NeoCube Alpha allows you to create literally hundreds of shapes and patterns.

We kicked things off by trying to create a cube, which isn’t as simple as it first appears. The pyramid was good fun to construct and then the girls in the office started making jewellery and … well we lost interest from there on in, but we’re told they look “fab!”

It maybe utterly pointless, but as pringles have taught us, once you pop, you just can’t stop.

The NeoCube Alpha is simply the most addictive puzzle I have ever played with. It’s completely pointless in that there is no specific aim, but at the same time the best present I have ever received.

Very intriguing, and extremely addictive, The NeoCube Alpha is the perfect way to release your creativity in abundance. Ideal for the office or stopping yourself being bored whilst travelling, you’ll find yourself constantly creating random shapes and patterns.

I’m yet to perfect the cube but I’m not going to be beaten! Some of the magnets seem to have less polarity than others which definitely adds to the challenge. The NeoCube Alpha is an ideal gift for both kids and big kids.

Don’t take the NeoCube Alpha anywhere you need to get stuff done, because it’s just not going to happen, this is totally addictive. I’ve just put it down this minute to write this review and I want to play again! I’ve perfected the cube but the pyramid alludes me, I will certainly keep trying.

I bought The Neocube Alpha for my brother and he’s not put it down since. I must admit I’ve knicked it a couple of times too and agree, it is extremely addictive.

With 216 little metal balls as part of the NeoCube Alpha, I must admit I thought I’d have lost a few of them by now but not so!

This game / puzzle is great fun, it’s addictive, it’s difficult and it’s silly. Best of all it makes an absolutely great present and Christmas is sorted this year, everyone is getting one of these.
