I have taken to not using my heating anymore, I just leave my Slanket in the living room so when I am settling down to watch television or read a book I can snuggle up in my Slanket and stay nice and warm. I’m going to be buying these as Christmas gifts for my friends because it is a gift that I not only think has a novelty value, but is also really practical and will save people money on their heating bills. I take it with me on my many coach trips and find it invaluable when it gets a wee bit chilly. It is definitely washable as I have spilled food on it (oops) several times and it always comes out looking like new. The Slanket is ideal for a big chap like me. I don't often buy presents for myself but as soon as I saw this I had to have it. It takes a little getting used to "wearing", but after a day or so it's just like using any other blanket except you can use your hands without your arms getting cold. I spend most evenings watching the TV snuggled into my Slanket, it's great! The Slanket is easily the best thing I have bought this year.
